November 14 field study
date and time: November 14 5:55pm
present climate conditions (rain, snow, wind, etc.) Very cold but very calm not very windy
temperature: 37
Sunrise: 7:35 am
Sunset: 5:22 pm
organisms smelled, felt, heard, or seen, etc: I could hear the boys playing soccer and i could hear the small amount of wind hitting the trees. There was also a train I could just feel the cold on my face and my legs.
changes noticed since the last visit: Although it was darker because the sun had already set but there was snow on the ground and way more of the leaves were down. It also just looked like there was more water in the little river thing.
On my last visit i said I just wonder why some trees are completely full of leaves and others have no leaves and how if the are kinda linked in the soil how they are also so different. So i did some research and found out that deciduous trees fall sooner than other trees. So maples, oaks and beech trees. I also took a picture of me with my field study last time but forgot to add it so I added it to this one.

Keep an eye on your oaks, too...they will likely keep a bunch of their leaves even until the new leaf buds start in the spring!
